Greg Maple is a Certified Family Law Specialist, California Board of Legal Specialization. Greg has been named a Northern California Super Lawyer each year from 2005 through the present. Greg is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), Northern California Chapter. Greg's practice focuses on: (1) serving as a mediator in family law cases, (2) representing family law clients in mediation, (3) negotiating and preparing premarital agreements and postnuptial agreements, (4) serving as a private judge in family law cases, (5) appointment as a Special Master to resolve specific issues in family law cases.
Greg is a member of the San Francisco and Marin Bar Associations. Greg has lectured on premarital agreements for the Bar Association of San Francisco and for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Northern California Chapter. Greg participated as a guest on the KALW 91.7 F.M. radio program "Your Legal Rights", where he discussed family law mediation. Greg serves as a Settlement Master for San Francisco Superior Court’s Mandatory Settlement Conferences, an arbitrator for the San Francisco Bar Association’s Fee Dispute Arbitration Program, and a volunteer attorney for Marin County Superior Court’s pro per calendar. Greg previously served as the Chairperson (2000) and Vice Chairperson (1999) of the San Francisco Bar Association’s Barrister’s Family Law Committee.
Greg received his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1993, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Research & Writing. Greg also participated in the Street Law Program, teaching a course in law to San Francisco high school students. Greg received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 1988, with a major in Political Science and minors in Economics and Law & Society.
